Lilian Viana, Brazilian Jazz

Since Lilian was born in Belo Horizonte, the rhythms and melodies of Brazil are second-nature to her. Her repertoire features a treasure trove of songs by Brazil's best composers, including Antônio Carlos Jobim, Milton Nascimento, Gilberto Gil and Ivan Lins. Her performances have received the respect and admiration of Brazilian Jazz aficionados all over South Florida. In 1998, 2004 and 2008, Lilian was a featured artist at the Brazilian Press Award. In 2002, she performed with Paulo Gualano Brazilian & Latin Productions at the "Brazilian Carnival Ball" in Toronto, Canada.  Also, Lilian has made several appearances at "The Brazilian Independence Mega Fest" at Bayfront Park in Miami.

Lilian has performed at all of the popular Brazilian nightclubs (past and present) in Miami, Ft. Lauderdale, and the surrounding area. including Brazil Brazil, Copacabana Nights, Ipanema Grill, Janjo's, Porcão Restaurant & Lounge, and Van Dike's (South Beach).
